Old Village walk
If you want to see some old architecture of kullu and culture. Then you can walk to old villages nearby. You can see how people live and how they dressed up and there daily routine work.s.
There are nice tracks from naggar to different places like Malana, Chandarkhani, Bijli mahadev etc. all tracks are nice and easy.
Naggar is surrounded by old temples. There are 4-5 main temples like Krishna Temple, Gauri Shakar temple, Tripra sundari Mata temple, Jagtipatt, Vishnu Temple. All temples are in 500 mts radius.
There is one international museum in naggar that is called Nicolas Roerich art Gallery. There are some rare paintings and other specimens and some photographs. Must visit place in Naggar.
Castle is one of the main attractions in naggar. This is 600 years old kathkooni structure of kullu’s Raja’s . Now it is converted in hotel run by Himachal Pradesh Tourism department.
You can visit to Jana waterfall 10 kms from Naggar to Naggar-Bijli Mahadev road. On the way you will see thick pine forest and you can go to chamunda devi temple in nashala village on the way to waterfall.
From naggar you can go to see Buddhist monastery it is 10 kms from naggar on the way to kullu.
Pangan Monastery: There is one special Buddhist monestary for women 8 kms from naggar. Buuldings are really hanging on the hill and view is awesome from there of valley and you can see naggar also from there.
